Painting on Fabric – Flower & Snowman


Choose one of the above designs for your workshop.  Learn how to mix paints, basic techniques for painting on fabric. Mounting quilts onto painter’s canvas for easy wall hanging.

Cost per student including kit: $25.00 (minimum 3 students)

Student kit includes:

  • Painters canvas (12” x 4”)
  • Fabric (13” x 5”)
  • Decor Bond Fusible (13″ x 5″)
  • Batting (13” x 5”)
  • Paint brushes – 8 and 10 flat and a round
  • Cup filled with water to clean your brushes
  • Pallet to mix Paints
  • Coordinating threads
  • Full set of instructions and template

Pam will bring to share:

  • Acrylic paint – Black, White, Green, Yellow,
  • Red, Blue
  • Fabric Medium (bring different ones)
  • School Glue
  • Tooth picks
  • Twigs
  • Button Thread
  • Paper towels

Required supplies for students to bring:

  • X-acto knife with new, sharp blade
  • Fabric marking Pen (I like Frixion)
  • Small/sharp scissors to cut appliqué pieces
  • Pencil
  • Note Pad
  • Fine tip Sharpie
  • Freezer Paper
  • Hand Sewing needle
  • Sewing Machine (in good working order)
  • Sewing Machine needles (size: 70 & 80)
  • Cutting Mat
  • Quilting Ruler
  • Rotary Cutter (new blade)
  • Hair Dryer
